Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keimah Animai (ranked 399 p4p, 59 weight class) and Adrian Shota (ranked 611 p4p, 88 weight class). Animai comes to the cage accompanied by Rise - Flobots. Shota has chosen Black Panther Theme by Stephen James Taylor as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shota scoring well with a low kick there.
Animai moves into the clinch.
Shota throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Shota lands with a left to the head.

Animai tightens his grip and picks Shota up, before dumping him to the ground. Shota manages to land in guard.
Animai missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Shota wriggles free and stands up.
Animai goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Adrian Shota has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shota dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Animai. That did some damage!
Shota has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Shota feints and then cracks Animai's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Animai down.

Animai has hold of one of Shota's legs. Shota is fighting the takedown attempt but Animai gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Shota pushes Animai off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Animai turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Animai manages to end up in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Shota has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
