Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Brewer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Mossey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jerry Brewer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brewer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mossey .
Mossey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mossey fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Brewer throws a hook but Mossey blocks it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brewer, as that shot connected.
Mossey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mossey is looking to advance position but Brewer won't allow it.
Brewer wants to get back to full guard.

Brewer wants to control but Mossey is keeping busy.
Mossey wants to pass the guard but Brewer is defending well.
Mossey looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mossey moves into full mount! Brewer won't be happy about that!
Mossey goes for an armbar but Brewer turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Brewer.

Brewer pushing down on Mossey 's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Still in half guard, Brewer seems content to control.
Mossey wants to get back to full guard but Brewer has mounted him!
Brewer prevents Mossey from getting the reversal.
Mossey is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Brewer stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Brewer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mossey looks gassed!
A jab-cross combination lands for Brewer and sends Mossey crashing to the mat! Brewer follows him down to the mat - Mossey regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Mossey is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brewer is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Mossey has managed to free his arm - good work.
Mossey is still in real trouble! Can Brewer finish him?
Mossey tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Brewer has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Mossey is desperately trying to improve his position but Brewer has a good base and remains in mount.
Mossey seems to have recovered his senses.

Brewer trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Mossey is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Brewer with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brewer landing shots from mount.
Mossey tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Brewer get's back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brewer drops Mossey with a big left hand! Mossey is injured, injured bad! Brewer jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
