Hanson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Seven Nation Army. David Hanson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hanson. Hanson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hanson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Allen is looking to clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Allen misses the target.
Hanson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Allen sprawls and moves away.
Allen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hanson on the side of the head.

Hanson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Allen finds it's way round the side to connect with Hanson's head.
Allen has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Hanson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hanson misses with a body kick.
Hanson tried to score with a low kick but Allen checks it.
Hanson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
David Hanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Allen pushes Hanson up against the cage in a clinch.

Allen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hanson shoots and misses
enabling Allen to counter with a crisp jab.
Hanson shoots in for a takedown but Allen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Allen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hanson thows a leg kick but Allen checks it

Hanson seems to have got his legs back now.
Allen pushes Hanson back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Allen creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Hanson with a big uppercut! Hanson tries to clinch up but Allen pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Hanson to the mat! Hanson covers up and Allen unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
