Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Chief!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Strange!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Strange gets tackled into the cage by Chief. Chief maintains the clinch.
Strange looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Chief pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Chief scores with a takedown into Strange's guard.
Chief is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Chief postures up in Strange's guard and throws a big left but Strange blocks it.
Chief pushes down on Strange's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chief takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Chief not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Chief is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Strange is just riding it out for now. Chief eventually gives up the hold.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Chief is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Strange doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chief.
Chief content to control rather than advance.
Chief seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Strange for as long as he can get away with.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Strange is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Chief will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Chief not doing much here.
Chief is nestled in close to Strange, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Strange wants to control but Chief is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chief is controlling the pace.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Strange has eaten all the pies!

Chief is thwarting Strange's attempts to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Chief connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Bobby Chief seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chief cracks a nice hook into Strange's ribs.
Chief scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Strange tries to keep at a distance but Chief has taken the fight into the clinch.

Chief wants the takedown. Strange is fighting it off but Chief persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Strange's guard against the cage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chief thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Chief controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Chief works over Strange with some ground and pound from guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Chief is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bobby Chief dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Chief cracks Strange with a big right hand and Strange goes down!


Strange is rocked!


It looks like Peter Strange has been cut.
Chief pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Strange is keeping the position for now.
Chief controlling from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chief postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Strange is still in real trouble! Can Chief finish him?
Chief is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Chief looking to pass the guard.

Chief is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Strange is breathing heavily.
Strange working a defensive guard here.
Chief keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Strange's head.
Chief stays in close to Strange's body and controls the position.
Chief has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Chief gets to his feet and stands over Strange, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Strange felt that one! Chief unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Strange from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobby Chief!
