Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kenny May (ranked 6286 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Smith (ranked 6280 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.
Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. May tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. May manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Smith takes one on the chin but seems OK.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

May is looking to counter punch.
Smith walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

May is struggling to control the position.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, May creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Jake Smith has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well May has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
