The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Suarez misses.
Suarez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Suarez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lancaster sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lancaster wants to slow Suarez down by chopping away at his legs.
Lancaster scores with the left hand. Suarez knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Luis Suarez has been cut.
Lancaster throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lancaster lands with a nice body punch.
Suarez just misses with a punch to the body.
Suarez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Suarez wants it to stay on the feet.
Suarez is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Suarez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lancaster connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Suarez scrambles back to his feet.
Suarez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lancaster.
Lancaster cracks a nice hook into Suarez's ribs.
Lancaster throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Suarez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lancaster connects with a right hand. Suarez shakes it off.

James Lancaster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Suarez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Lancaster lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Suarez is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Suarez looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lancaster, as that shot connected.

Lancaster drops Suarez with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Suarez! Lancaster dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
