Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Avery Sanders (ranked 9628 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reagan Aitken (ranked 8629 p4p, 0 weight class). Aitken has chosen Really Slow Motion - Battlefield as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Reagan Aitken has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Avery Sanders's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Avery Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Reagan Aitken!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aitken stalks Sanders and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sanders's face. Sanders staggers backwards, shaken.
Aitken fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Aitken lands with a good body shot.
Aitken smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Aitken moves in looking to clinch but Sanders pushes him off.
Sanders appears to be looking for a big counter.
Aitken lands a jab to the nose.
Sanders fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Aitken tries to clinch up.
As Aitken looks to move away, Sanders throws a big counter combo but Aitken just gets out of the way.
Aitken is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Aitken looks for a takedown but Sanders sprawls well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sanders circles away from the clinch attempt.
Aitken lands a body shot.
A head kick misses from Sanders.
Aitken tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sanders defends well and Aitken ends up having to push Sanders into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Aitken scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Aitken has closed the distance and engaged Sanders in a clinch.
Aitken lands with a right to the head.
Aitken blocks an uppercut.
A frustrated look appears on Aitken's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Sanders throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Aitken tries to circle away but Sanders has him pinned against the cage.
Sanders has Aitken pressed against the cage, preventing Aitken from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Sanders lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Aitken backwards.
Aitken tries to break the clinch but Sanders is controlling the position.
Sanders throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Sanders breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sanders misses with an attempted mid kick.
Aitken misses with a two punch combination.
Sanders tries to counter by clinching up but Aitken breaks away and moves out of range.

Sanders shoots in and bounces Aitken off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aitken can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sanders controls the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Aitken throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sanders is in close to Aitken's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Sanders throwing strikes but missing.
Sanders working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sanders working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sanders stands up from Aitken's guard - Sanders perhaps looking for a knockout.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sanders misses with a takedown attempt - Aitken sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Aitken tries to clinch up.
Sanders is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Aitken.
Sanders avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sanders slips a jab and a cross from Aitken.
Aitken throws an overhand right that lands on Sanders's shoulder, as Sanders tries to avoid the shot.
Sanders looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Aitken looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Aitken tries to close the distance and clinch but Sanders swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sanders appears to be looking for a big counter.
Sanders shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Avery Sanders. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aitken shoots in and drives through. Sanders sprawls well.
Aitken swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanders.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Aitken tries to close the distance and clinch but Sanders swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It looked like Sanders was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Aitken lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sanders shoots in and drives through. Aitken sprawls well.

Aitken clinches up with Sanders and pushes him back against the cage.
Aitken wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Aitken is trying to break the clinch but Sanders has him pressed against the cage.
Sanders is trying to pull guard but Aitken turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Aitken tries to break free but Sanders pushes him back against the cage.
Aitken is trying to force a seperation but Sanders has the dominant position.
Sanders keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Aitken's efforts to push away.
Aitken looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Sanders breaks the clinch.
Aitken cracks Sanders with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Aitken lands the left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reagan Aitken dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Aitken fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sanders tries to score a power double leg takedown but Aitken sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sanders somewhat.
Sanders fails with the takedown
and Aitken counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Aitken slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Aitken scores with a jab. Sanders acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Donk. Aitken catches Sanders right on the button with a cross.


Sanders is rocked!
and Aitken counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Sanders! He's just covering up as Aitken starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reagan Aitken!
A pretty intense looking Reagan Aitken took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
