PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tsing Tsing Khan (ranked 2006 p4p, 249 weight class) and Sixten Sason (ranked 2178 p4p, 265 weight class). Sason has chosen Parkway Drive - Wild Eyes as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Sason - just one landing.

It looks like Tsing Tsing Khan has been cut.
Sason throws a leg kick
and Khan counters with a stiff right hand.
Khan throws a hook but Sason avoids it easily.
Sason dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Khan. That did some damage!
Sason uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Khan.
Sason doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Khan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sason 's head backwards.
Khan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sason .
Sason takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A looping hook to the body misses from Khan. Sason does a little dance to reset his feet.
Khan scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
We've been told by Khan's head coaches at Seppo's Massage Temple that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Khan misses with a wild body shot.
Sason with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Khan to score with a decent uppercut.

Sason drops his hands momentarily and Khan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Sason avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A little jabbing left from Sason on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sason takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Khan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sason moves away.

As Sason looks to move away, Khan throws a big counter combo but Sason just gets out of the way.

Sason throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Khan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sason is in Khan's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Khan is working hard here to advance position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Sason is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Khan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Khan throws a nice looking combination but Sason bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sason misses with a straight left.
Khan looks to land a combination but Sason avoids it well.
Khan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Sason dives in and scores a takedown into Khan's guard.
Khan is looking to stand back up but Sason counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Khan.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Khan ducks right into an uppercut from Sason .
Sason throws a body punch but Khan moves out of range.
Khan went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Khan just misses with a punch to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Sason misses the target.
Sason walks into a jab.
Sason takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Sason takes a swing at Khan's ribcage but misses.
Khan connects with a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sason is looking to clinch.
A counter left hand to the body from Khan misses its target.
Khan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Khan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sason manages to avoid it.
Sason is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

The fight stays on the outside here - Sason looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tsing Tsing Khan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Khan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Khan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

No joy there for Khan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Khan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sason .

and Sason counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sason fails to land the takedown.
Sason works Khan's body with a nice hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sason shoots for a double leg takedown but Khan sprawls well. He's pushed Sason 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sason changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Khan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sason postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Sason connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Khan some visible discomfort.

Sason has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Khan is not content to let Sason control the position.

Khan is trying to get back to his feet but Sason has full control of the position and if anything, Khan has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Khan is really stuck here.
Sason has Khan flattened out and is raining down punches.

Tsing Tsing Khan's cut is getting worse.
Sason lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Sason .

Jeez, Tsing Tsing Khan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tsing Tsing Khan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
