Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Lindsay (ranked 25609 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Bman (ranked 6601 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Bman will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Angelo Lindsay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Bman!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bman throws a combination that misses

and Lindsay counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bman won't be happy with that.
Bman bucks up and tries to throw Lindsay off but instead Lindsay has got his back!
Lindsay controlling well, preventing Bman from escaping the position.
Bman wants to control his opponent's hands but Lindsay gets his hands free.
Bman is trying to get back to his feet but Lindsay has full control of the position and if anything, Bman has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Bman trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Lindsay tightening his grip on Bman, looking for the choke.

Lindsay is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Bman knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Bman for a finish.
Bman trying to control the hands but Lindsay breaks the grip.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lindsay is trying to stick to Bman's back but Bman is turning into Lindsay. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lindsay's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bman.
Bman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Bman gets to his feet. Lindsay looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Bman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bman lands in his opponent's guard.
Lindsay might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Bman stands up over Lindsay, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lindsay can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bman controls the pace.

Bman stands up from Lindsay's guard - Bman perhaps looking for a knockout.

Lindsay gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lindsay kicks Bman off and gets to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bman gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Bman lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lindsay's head.

Bman stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lindsay to get to his feet.

Bman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lindsay could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bman throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Bman grinds an elbow into Lindsay's temple.
Lindsay throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Lindsay gets back to half guard.
Bman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.


Lindsay is rocked!


It looks like Angelo Lindsay has been cut.
Lindsay is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bman seems to be working for a kimura but Lindsay defends the submission attempt.
Oh Lindsay is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bman looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Lindsay seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Let's hope that Bman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Bman dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Angelo Lindsay's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Lindsay tries for a takedown but Bman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bman looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Lindsay avoids the head kick by Bman.
Lindsay tries to counter by clinching up but Bman breaks away and moves out of range.
Lindsay looks up at the clock. Bad move! Bman lands a right hand from hell, dropping Lindsay. Bman pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Bman!
