The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Visions ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rodriguez moves away.
Visions throws out a powerful jab.
Visions leaves Rodriguez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Visions looks to score with a jab to the body but Rodriguez is just out of range.
Visions lands the left hand.

Visions looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rodriguez won't allow Visions to pass to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Visions is working for a kimura but Rodriguez is defending it quite comfortably.

Rodriguez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Visions. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Visions connects with a nice short shot to Rodriguez's temple.
