The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rozen works the jab nicely.
Rozen throws a shot from downtown. Silva moves away and avoids it.
Rozen misses with a jab, cross combination.
A jab from Rozen does it's job there.
Rozen throws a good cross that connects.

A slow jab from Rozen misses its intended target.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Silva has eaten all the pies!
Rozen doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.

Silva drops back looking for a leg! Rozen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rozen manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Rozen's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rozen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rozen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rozen!

Rozen is trying to get an arm triangle but Silva is defending well.
Silva is looking to reverse the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Silva is not content to let Rozen control the position.
Rozen goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rozen but great work by Silva.
Silva has an Americana. Rozen didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Silva is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Silva hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Cain Silva!
Our winner, Cain Silva, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
