PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Kasper Alberto (ranked 8355 p4p, 147 weight class) and Matt Major (ranked 7375 p4p, 260 weight class). Major has chosen The Dark Tunnel Interview as his entrance music. On his way into the ring it seems that Kasper Alberto has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kasper Alberto seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Major lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alberto circles away quickly and effectively.
Major misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alberto.
Major lands a glancing blow to the side of Alberto's head.
Alberto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Major was well out of range. Poor timing from Alberto.
Alberto doesn't manage to clinch there - Major circles away.
Major lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Major moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Major scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Alberto beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

This has been an exciting period of action!
OH! Alberto has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Major smells blood and charges in for the finish! Major unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Alberto sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Matt Major!
Matt Major was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
