The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ator moves into the clinch.
Ator is trying to pull guard but Roman has him pressed against the cage.
Ator blocks a body shot from Roman.
Roman working hard to break the clinch.
Ator is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ator is stalling here.

Roman breaks from the clinch.
Roman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ator swivels and escapes.
Ator wants to counter the offense by Roman and move into the clinch position.
Ator tries for a takedown but Roman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ator.
Roman thinks about countering with a head kick.
Josiah Roman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eniall Ator.
Ator looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Eniall Ator seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ator pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Roman changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Ator tries for a takedown but Roman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Roman went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Ator feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Roman sprawling to the canvas! Roman rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ator finish him?!

It looks like Josiah Roman has been cut.
Roman really is a fat lump.
Ator moves in looking to clinch but Roman pushes him off.
Ator shoots and misses
and Roman counters with a stiff right hand.

Roman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ator, pushing him back against the cage.
Roman has Ator pressed against the cage, preventing Ator from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ator fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Roman looking to throw knees to the head but Ator is blocking nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ator gets control of Roman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ator will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Ator is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Roman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ator is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Roman, into his guard.

Ator trying to control the position from guard on top but Roman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Roman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ator has his hands clasped together around Roman's back. He's all about the action.

Roman wants to work for an arm triangle but Ator is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Ator wants to get back to full guard.
Roman wants to stand up but Ator manages to regain full guard.

Ator is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Roman is aware though and is defending well.
Ator wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Roman won't allow Ator to sweep him here.
Roman is looking to stand up but Ator won't let him.
Roman is looking to work some ground and pound but Ator has wrist control.
Roman content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Roman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Ator is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ator is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ator has escaped and now he's on top!

Ator's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Ator throwing strikes but missing.
Ator wants to pass the guard but Roman is keeping the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ator showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Ator lands with a right and another and another! Roman is in big trouble! Ator lands again and this time it's lights out for Roman! A quality knockout there for Ator.
