Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cam Newton (ranked 690 p4p, 106 weight class) and Ramses Xll (ranked 415 p4p, 63 weight class). Newton's entrance music is Superman. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Xll's choice of entrance music: World Order - Have A Nice Day. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton misses with a few strikes there.
Xll connects with a body shot.
Xll throws a looping overhand right but Newton ducks down to avoid it.
Newton misses with a wild combination.
Xll feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Newton sprawling to the canvas! Newton rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Xll finish him?!
It looks like Cam Newton has been cut.
Xll avoids the body shot from Newton.
We've been informed that Xll has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Xll walks into a stiff left hand from Newton.
Xll thuds his shin into the meat of Newton's side.
Xll throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Newton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Newton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Xll.
Newton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Xll lands a right hook to the body.
Newton is breathing heavily.
Xll connects with a combination that backs up Newton into the cage. Xll lands a flurry of punches that gets past Newton's guard. Newton is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Xll bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ramses Xll!
An out of breath Ramses Xll thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
