Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pispis Maya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Houghtinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maya throws a shot from downtown. Houghtinho moves away and avoids it.
Maya looks to throw the jab but Houghtinho is out of range.
Maya throws an overhand right that lands on Houghtinho's shoulder, as Houghtinho tries to avoid the shot.
Maya throws a lazy right hand but Houghtinho sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Houghtinho is looking to take a break and control but Maya is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Houghtinho tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Houghtinho has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Maya feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Houghtinho sprawling to the canvas! Houghtinho rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Maya finish him?!

Maya drops Houghtinho with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Houghtinho! Maya dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
