The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Garibay is not content to let Rossi control the position.

Rossi moves in looking to clinch but Garibay pushes him off.
Rossi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Garibay, pushing him back against the cage.
Rossi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Garibay is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rossi to the mat. Rossi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
