Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lothario Renaldo!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Renaldo.
Renaldo throws a shot to the body.
Booker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Booker ducks right into an uppercut from Renaldo.
Renaldo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Renaldo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Booker doesn't seem bothered though.
Renaldo digs a good hook to Booker's body.
Renaldo lands a body shot.
Renaldo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Renaldo lands a glancing blow to the side of Booker's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Booker ducks right into an uppercut from Renaldo.
Renaldo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Renaldo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Renaldo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Booker in his tracks.
Renaldo moves out of range as Booker strikes.
It seemed like Renaldo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Renaldo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Renaldo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Booker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Renaldo scores with the left hand. Booker knows he should have avoided that one.
Booker gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Renaldo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Booker at a distance.
Renaldo thuds a left hand into Booker's body.
Renaldo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Booker is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Some wild striking there from Renaldo.
Booker half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Lothario Renaldo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Booker scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Booker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Renaldo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Booker asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Booker misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Booker postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Booker working the ground and pound but Renaldo is defending the strikes.
Booker misses with the ground and pound.
Booker is chipping away with strikes.
Renaldo can't do much from the bottom here.
Booker throws an elbow but Renaldo slips to the side and avoids it well.
The ground and pound from Booker seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Renaldo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Booker misses with the ground and pound.
Booker tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Booker postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Booker throws an elbow but Renaldo slips to the side and avoids it well.

Booker is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Renaldo is trying to escape and Booker transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Renaldo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Booker! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Maxwell Booker!
A relieved looking Maxwell Booker thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
