And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rice drops his hands momentarily and Cynster takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Ike Rice has been cut.
Cynster works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rice throws a shot from downtown. Cynster moves away and avoids it.

Cynster has closed the distance and engaged Rice in a clinch.
Rice tries to pull guard but Cynster won't allow it.

Rice pulls guard effortlessly.

Rice uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Rice rushes Cynster and presses him up against the cage.

Rice breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Rice.
Cynster unleashes a big counter combination but Rice bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Cynster slips under a jab.
Rice could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rice misses with a leg kick
and Cynster counters with a one-two to the body.

A head kick misses from Rice.
Cynster is looking for the big counter here.

Cynster instigates a clinch.
Rice tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cynster just stands there and leans against the cage.
Cynster gets underhooks to prevent Rice's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ike Rice. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rice stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Cynster has hold of one of Rice's legs. Rice is fighting the takedown attempt but Cynster gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Rice looking for a guillotine here but Cynster defends easily.

Rice looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cynster has picked Rice up and slammed him! Rice can't keep hold of the triangle and Cynster manages to pass to side control!
You can see the frustration on Rice's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Rice is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Cynster blocks the strikes from Rice.
Rice trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Rice is breathing heavily.
Cynster prevents Rice from getting the reversal.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cynster working for a submission but Rice is keeping him at bay.
Rice keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cynster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rice. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rice defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Cynster.
Rice can't escape the position.

Rice slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Cynster wants to take a breather but Rice is having none of it.
Rice misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Rice is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cynster's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cynster's back!
Rice is punishing Cynster with strikes - can he finish him?!

Rice has his arm under Cynster's chin here. Game over son! Rice squeezes tightly and Cynster is forced to tap out!
