The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kids throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kids fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Romanow manages to avoid it.
Nice body punch from Romanow.
Romanow lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Romanow jabs Kids right on the nose. Kids blinks but takes it well.
Romanow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kids was well out of range. Poor timing from Romanow.
Kids throws a predictable looking body shot
and Romanow connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kids swings wildly with an uppercut but Romanow uses good head movement to avoid it.

Romanow looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Romanow pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Kids feints a jab promting Romanow to slip. Kids then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Romanow slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Romanow has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

It seemed like Romanow was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Kids lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Romanow circles away quickly and effectively.

Kids shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kids is looking to wear down Romanow with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Nice uppercut lands for Romanow. That snapped Kids's head back.

Kids is rocked!
Kids looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Romanow lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Kids up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Romanow from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Kids's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
