The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mulligan looks for a takedown but Pollard sprawls well.
Pollard tries to clinch but Mulligan is having none of it.
Pollard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mulligan's waist but Mulligan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pollard off to one side.

Pollard drops back looking for a leg! Mulligan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mulligan manages to kick Pollard off! Pollard jumps back into Mulligan's guard.

Mulligan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pollard's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pollard's back!
