PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Brown (ranked 5729 p4p, 493 weight class) and Stevie Franchise (ranked 3845 p4p, 361 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Living in America. Franchise is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Microphone Fiend- Rage Against the Machine. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown tries to score with some ground and pound. Franchise controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Franchise felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
