The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holden misses with a double jab.

Blampied lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Blampied stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holden swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Holden wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Blampied is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The fight stays on the outside here - Holden looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Blampied connects with a nice short shot to Holden's temple.
Blampied working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Blampied stands up and beckons Holden to join him on the feet.
Oh Holden is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Blampied pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Blampied lands with a right and another and another! Holden is in big trouble! Blampied lands again and this time it's lights out for Holden! A quality knockout there for Blampied.
