Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alton Bullock (ranked 25311 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jo Trotsky (ranked 6402 p4p, 0 weight class). Jo Trotsky will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullock shoots in and bounces Trotsky off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Trotsky is striking off his back. Bullock thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Trotsky throws a strike from the bottom but Bullock passes into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trotsky tries to get back to half guard but can't.
You can see the frustration on Trotsky's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bullock is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Trotsky will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Trotsky tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bullock wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bullock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Trotsky manages to escape to his feet.
Bullock pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Trotsky back to the cage. Bullock follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Bullock throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Trotsky.
Bullock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Trotsky closes the distance and clinches up with Bullock, looking for a takedown. Trotsky pushes Bullock against the cage but Bullock circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bullock connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Trotsky some visible discomfort.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Bullock fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Trotsky to the ground. Bullock is now in Trotsky's guard.
Trotsky is wriggling around but Bullock manages to pass to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Trotsky misses with a takedown attempt - Bullock sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bullock seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Trotsky for as long as he can get away with.

Trotsky is bucking up trying to escape but Bullock cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Alton Bullock overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bullock lands a big shot there that rocks Trotsky but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Bullock has control of an arm but Trotsky manages to advance to Bullock's back!

Bullock has hold of Trotsky's arm. He needs to escape this position sooner or later but for now he's happy enough to control the position and prevent the submission attempts.

Bullock is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Trotsky gets his way!

Trotsky doesn't have the hooks in and Bullock manages to turn into his guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bullock's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bullock is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bullock drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bullock jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bullock is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Trotsky sees it coming and defends easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Trotsky takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Trotsky looking for a sweep but Bullock has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Bullock tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bullock's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bullock, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
