Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shirley Sexton (ranked 9955 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistair Velasquez (ranked 5371 p4p, 657 weight class). Velasquez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fort Minor ft Styles of Beyond - Remember The Name. Alistair Velasquez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez walks into a straight right hand from Sexton.

Sexton has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Velasquez uses from the top position.

Sexton wants to stand up but Velasquez is controlling him.

Sexton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Velasquez defends it easily.
Sexton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Velasquez lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Velasquez postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Sexton covers up, he's hurt! Velasquez keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Velasquez and the ref steps in to end the fight! Velasquez can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
