Mundi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Swallow The Sun - Hold This Woe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hussein Stahl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gordon Mundi!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stahl ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stahl throws a head kick but Mundi moves out of range.
Stahl tries a head kick but it misses.
Stahl looks for a takedown but Mundi sprawls well.
Mundi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stahl.
Stahl looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mundi lands a jab to the head.
Mundi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mundi slips a jab and a cross from Stahl.
Stahl pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mundi is out of range and Stahl settles back down.
Mundi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stahl.
Hussein Stahl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stahl takes a swing at Mundi's ribcage but misses.
Stahl throws a head kick that misses.
Stahl wants to clinch up but Mundi keeps it at a distance.
A little jabbing left from Mundi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Stahl tries a low kick but Mundi avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stahl drives through and clinches with Mundi against the cage.
Stahl lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Stahl changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mundi fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Stahl tries to clinch but Mundi is having none of it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mundi! But no joy.
Mundi scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mundi scores with a hook to the body. Stahl takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Stahl is breathing heavily.
Mundi thuds a left hand into Stahl's body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stahl on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Mundi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mundi dips to his left and cracks Stahl with an uppercut!

It looks like Hussein Stahl has been cut.

Mundi drops Stahl with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stahl looks back up at him and smiles so Mundi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Stahl takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mundi lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Stahl - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Mundi!
