Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angel Raider (ranked 6442 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Wren (ranked 6563 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Albert Wren!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raider is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Raider misses with a wild combination.
Wren steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Raider.
Wren walks into a jab.
Raider swings for the body but Wren moves out of range.
Wren tries to counter with a clinch but Raider shakes him off and moves away.
A combination from Raider does no damage.
Wren lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.


It looks like Angel Raider has been cut.
Raider lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Wren decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Raider kicks off Wren and gets to his feet.

Raider defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wren.
Raider scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Raider throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wren was covering up waiting for the punch and Raider finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Wren manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Wren looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Raider throws a right hand that Wren ducks under and follows up with a left that Wren also avoids with ease.

Raider is pressed up against the cage. Wren has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Raider down to the mat. Raider avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Wren manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Raider on his heels. He'll look to pass Raider's guard now, I'm sure.

Raider takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Raider shoots in but Wren avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wren moves in looking to clinch but Raider pushes him off.

As Wren looks to move away, Raider throws a big counter combo but Wren just gets out of the way.

Wren drives through and clinches with Raider against the cage.
Wren is working for takedown but Raider is calmly controlling the position for now.
Raider has had enough of the clinch but Wren keeps him there for the moment.

Wren decides to pull guard.
Raider would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Wren lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Wren shoots in looking for a takedown but Raider manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wren's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Raider lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Wren clinches with his opponent.
Wren tries to pull guard but Raider forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Raider jumps into guard, dragging Wren to the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wren content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Wren gets to his feet - Raider follows without any prompting.
Wren dives in and grabs Raider's left leg, looking for a takedown. Raider pushes down on Wren's head and hops out.

Albert Wren has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Angel Raider is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Raider has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
