Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Robert Arctor (ranked 6460 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quick Joe (ranked 8739 p4p, 0 weight class). Quick Joe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Arctor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quick Joe!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arctor looks for the body kick but Joe saw that one coming.
Arctor shoots in but Joe avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A nice side step and Joe releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Arctor goes for a double leg but Joe avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Joe continues to drive forward.
Joe flicks out a counter leg kick but Arctor steps away.
Arctor fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A nice side step and Joe releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Arctor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Arctor is defended easily by Joe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Arctor wants to control but Joe is having none of it.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Arctor shoots in looking for a takedown but Joe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Arctor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Arctor bucks up and tries to throw Joe off but instead Joe has got his back!
I would not like to be Arctor right now.
Joe's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Joe has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Quick Joe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Arctor works over Joe's head and body with a nice combination.

Arctor gets a clinch.
Arctor wants to take the fight to the mat but Joe manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Arctor tries to pull guard but Joe forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Arctor is trying to break the clinch but Joe has him pressed against the cage.
Joe is looking to control Arctor's arms but Arctor gets an underhook and turns him. Now Joe has his back to the cage.

Joe is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Arctor has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Joe avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Quick Joe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Joe winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
