The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues throws a right and a left that both miss.
Chamberpot scores with a hook to the body. Rodrigues takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Chamberpot lands with a kick to the ribs.
Chamberpot misses with a few strikes there.
Chamberpot throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rodrigues stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Rodrigues throws a left and a right that both miss

and Chamberpot decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rodrigues's guard.

Chamberpot content to stall in guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chamberpot gets to his feet - Rodrigues follows without any prompting.

Chamberpot closes the distance and clinches.
Rodrigues gets underhooks to prevent Chamberpot's takedown attempt.

Chamberpot has hold of one of Rodrigues's legs. Rodrigues is fighting the takedown attempt but Chamberpot gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Rodrigues is working an open guard so Chamberpot takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Chamberpot closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rodrigues wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chamberpot has him pressed against the cage.
Chamberpot landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Rodrigues prevents a takedown attempt there.

Chamberpot manages to pull guard.

Chamberpot is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Rodrigues rolls with it to try and escape but Chamberpot cranks on the arm and Rodrigues is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
