Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steve Humphries!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Sinclair!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humphries tries to clinch but Sinclair is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sinclair tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sinclair has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Steve Humphries will probably get the nod.

Sinclair shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Humphries as he jumps to the side.

Humphries goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sinclair rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Humphries's guard! Nice work there by Sinclair!

Humphries has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sinclair off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Humphries doesn't manage to clinch there - Sinclair circles away.
Sinclair lunges at Humphries with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Humphries's hand.
Sinclair shoots in and drives through. Humphries sprawls well.
Sinclair shoots in for a double leg but Humphries sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Humphries darts in and clinches Sinclair up against the cage.

Humphries breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sinclair throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Humphries's waist but Humphries gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sinclair off to one side.
Sinclair moves in looking to clinch but Humphries pushes him off.

and Sinclair counters with a nice kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Humphries throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sinclair was covering up waiting for the punch and Humphries finishes the takedown easily into guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Steve Humphries showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Humphries has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
