The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santos Jr drives through and clinches with Barbosa against the cage.
Barbosa is trying to push Santos Jr away but Santos Jr has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Santos Jr breaks the clinch.
Barbosa lands with a shot to the body.
Santos Jr walks into a left hand.
Barbosa throws a body punch but Santos Jr moves out of range.

Santos Jr manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Barbosa on his heels. He'll look to pass Barbosa's guard now, I'm sure.

Barbosa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos Jr on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Barbosa lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Barbosa throws out a loose jab but Santos Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.
Good exchange - Barbosa coming out on top.
Santos Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barbosa sprawls well. Barbosa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Santos Jr gets slowly back to his feet.

Santos Jr decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Barbosa, up you get!
Barbosa connects with a body shot that sends Santos Jr's belly button to the back.
Santos Jr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barbosa circles away.
Barbosa loads up on a big right hand but Santos Jr slips the punch.

Barbosa tries to stall but Santos Jr uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Santos Jr lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

It looks like Santos Jr might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Santos Jr dives in for a single leg takedown but Barbosa sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Barbosa tries to lock up and control but Santos Jr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Santos Jr manages to capitalize on a mistake by Barbosa to take his back!
Santos Jr lands strikes to the head.
Santos Jr lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Barbosa.

Santos Jr has got one arm under Barbosa's chin. This could be trouble... Barbosa trying to control the other hand but Santos Jr gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Barbosa has tapped out! The fight is over!
