Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dolph Lingren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yeshaya Kramer Ii!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lingren darts in looking for a takedown but Kramer Ii gets double underhooks and turns Lingren into the cage.
Lingren lands a head kick. Kramer Ii smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
No joy there for Kramer Ii, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kramer Ii moves into the clinch successfully.

Kramer Ii has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lingren uses from the top position.
Lingren with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Lingren is fighting to break Kramer Ii's control of his arms but Kramer Ii is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Lingren pushing down on Kramer Ii's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Lingren wants to finish this one by submission but Kramer Ii is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lingren.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lingren punches the canvas rather than the man.

Lingren tries to close the distance and clinch but Kramer Ii swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lingren dives in and grabs Kramer Ii's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kramer Ii pushes down on Lingren's head and hops out.
Kramer Ii is looking to clinch but Lingren is avoiding it.
Dolph Lingren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kramer Ii fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lingren, pushing him back against the cage.
Kramer Ii goes for a takedown attempt but Lingren pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lingren shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kramer Ii pinned against the cage. Kramer Ii gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lingren is defended easily by Kramer Ii.

Lingren swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kramer Ii shoots in looking for a takedown but Lingren manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kramer Ii's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kramer Ii looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Kramer Ii throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lingren's waist but Lingren gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kramer Ii off to one side.

Kramer Ii displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lingren.

Lingren closes the distance and clinches up with Kramer Ii, looking for a takedown. Lingren pushes Kramer Ii against the cage but Kramer Ii circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kramer Ii stuffs the takedown attempt from Lingren. Lingren gets slowly back to his feet.
Lingren looks to throw the jab but Kramer Ii is out of range.
Lingren changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kramer Ii tries to avoid it but Lingren manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kramer Ii to the ground. Kramer Ii escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kramer Ii shoots for a takedown but Lingren saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lingren dives in for a single leg takedown but Kramer Ii sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Lingren will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Yeshaya Kramer Ii seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lingren stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lingren wants it to stay on the feet.

Nice takedown defense from Lingren. No joy for Kramer Ii on that attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dolph Lingren will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Kramer Ii is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lingren gets his way!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lingren, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
