The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tubridy looks to score with a jab to the body but Hilton is just out of range.
Hilton is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Tubridy.

Hilton walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hilton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tubridy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fenton Hilton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

letting Tubridy counter with a right hand.
Tubridy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hilton was well out of range. Poor timing from Tubridy.

Hilton forces Tubridy back against the cage and clinches.
A frustrated look appears on Tubridy's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Tubridy is trying to push Hilton away but Hilton has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Tubridy wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tubridy's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Tubridy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hilton clinches up with Tubridy and pushes him back against the cage.

Tubridy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Tubridy throws a body punch but Hilton moves out of range.
Tubridy tries to bum rush Hilton with a series of wild strikes but Hilton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
