The fighters circling - San throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Usagi closes the distance and pushes San back into the cage.
Usagi is trying to drag San to the mat but San just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Usagi jumps guard but San stands there with Usagi around his waist. Usagi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

San pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

It looks like Miyamoto Usagi has been cut.

Horrible takedown by Usagi or perhaps it was just good defense by San which made him look bad.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Usagi seems to be working for a kimura but San defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Usagi shoots in looking for a takedown. San tries to sprawl out of it but Usagi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. San manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Usagi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
San misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Usagi avoids a punch combination nicely.
San lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

San takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Usagi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

San tries to bum rush Usagi with a series of wild strikes but Usagi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
