Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Ubereem!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ubereem punishes Snow's body with a nice straight punch.
Ubereem scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ubereem lands with a hook. Snow tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Ubereem drops Snow with a big left hand and mounts him. Snow is in big trouble!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ubereem wants to control the pace but Snow is squirming around nicely.

Ubereem jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Snow manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Ubereem goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Snow has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ubereem but great work by Snow.
Ubereem can't do much from the bottom here.

Snow cracks Ubereem with a big right hand but Ubereem just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Snow looks up at the clock and then as Ubereem takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Snow smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ubereem tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Snow wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Snow is looking to take a break and control but Ubereem is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Snow is working Ubereem over with some ground and pound from side control.
Ubereem tries to bench press Snow off him but Snow keeps the position.
Snow creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ubereem is trying to work for a sweep but Snow has mounted him!

A nice elbow there by Snow.
This has been an exciting period of action!

It looks like Jon Ubereem has been cut.
A big strike lands for Snow! That's really hurt Ubereem and he's turned his back - Snow keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Snow jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Snow!
Mike Snow retains his light heavyweight title!
A relieved looking Mike Snow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
