Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Silva shoots in and bounces Samurai off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Silva throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Samurai is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Silva has hold of Samurai's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Samurai tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Silva cranks the arm and Samurai screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Samurai, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
