PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Alexander Pauwels (ranked 1396 p4p, 208 weight class) and Mic Bronson (ranked 4120 p4p, 521 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pauwels might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bad Company. Bronson has chosen glass candy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Pauwels clobbers Bronson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bronson throws out a head kick that Pauwels doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Pauwels crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Pauwels 's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

Pauwels walks into a big right hand from Bronson and goes down! The referee sends Bronson to a neutral corner as Pauwels gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.

A relieved looking Alexander Pauwels thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
