And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smoky fails with a takedown attempt.
Meld clinches up with Smoky and pushes him back against the cage.
Meld manages to break the clinch.
Meld has managed to clinch.
Meld breaks from the clinch.
A head kick by Smoky misses
and Meld decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Smoky's guard.
Meld keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Smoky's head.
Meld slips nicely into half guard.
Meld passes to full mount!
Meld controlling from the full mount.
Meld has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smoky tries to hold on but Meld pushes him away.
Smoky is looking to get to half guard.
Meld working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Smoky turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Meld off and cradles Smoky's limp body as Meld celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Harcin Meld!
