Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Kevaughn Aldridge (ranked 3790 p4p, 483 weight class) and Mike Bell (ranked 9864 p4p, 812 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Aldridge might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Smooth Criminal By Michael Jackson. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aldridge avoids the body shot from Bell.
Aldridge went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Bell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Aldridge sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Aldridge throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bell's head.
Bell moves out of range of the body kick.
Aldridge pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Aldridge tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bell looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Bell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Aldridge throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bell.
Bell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aldridge moves away.

Bell throws a series of punches but Aldridge avoids them all with ease.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Aldridge, as that shot connected.

Aldridge throws a counter high kick but Bell was just alert enough to avoid it.
Bell throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Aldridge on the side of the head.
Bell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bell throws a body shot but no joy.
As Bell looks to move away, Aldridge throws a big counter combo but Bell just gets out of the way.

and Aldridge counters with a series of strikes. Bell will be more careful next time no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kevaughn Aldridge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aldridge throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kevaughn Aldridge will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
