Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Gastelum (ranked 5001 p4p, 584 weight class) and Piotr Boryska (ranked 5662 p4p, 645 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Piotr Boryska!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boryska shoots for a double leg takedown but Gastelum sprawls well. He's pushed Boryska's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A little feinted left hand from Gastelum on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Boryska throws a one two combo.
Boryska connects with a leg kick. Gastelum looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gastelum will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Boryska fails with the takedown.

Boryska moves into the clinch.
Boryska gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gastelum.
Boryska tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gastelum smiles and moves away.
Kelvin Gastelum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piotr Boryska.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boryska throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gastelum loads up on a big right hand but Boryska slips the punch.
Gastelum fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Boryska on the side of the head.
Piotr Boryska seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boryska shoots in but Gastelum avoids the takedown attempt easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gastelum enables Boryska to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gastelum manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boryska accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Boryska wants to control from the top but Gastelum keeps moving.

Gastelum has momentary wrist control but Boryska slips an elbow through the middle.
Boryska postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Gastelum is trying to control the position but Boryska postures up.

Boryska drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boryska jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Boryska has gone for a leg lock! Gastelum slips out almost immediately though and dives into Boryska's guard.

Gastelum won't allow Boryska to get back to his feet.
Boryska throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

Boryska has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gastelum doesn't defend quickly enough and Boryska has managed to lock this one up! Can Gastelum escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Boryska on a fantastic submission victory.
