PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Grigorian (ranked 4101 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uruk Owraa (ranked 15482 p4p, 0 weight class). Grigorian has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grigorian takes one on the button.

It looks like Adam Grigorian has been cut.
Owraa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Grigorian circles away quickly and effectively.
Grigorian lands with a slapping head kick.
Grigorian scores with a push kick.
Owraa scores with a jab to the jaw.
Owraa is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The fighters circling - Owraa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Owraa has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Grigorian.
Grigorian scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Grigorian throws a leg kick which misses Owraa's front leg but catches the back leg as Owraa tries to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Owraa takes one to the side of the head.
Owraa takes a swing at Grigorian's ribcage but misses.
Grigorian throws a leg kick but Owraa sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A little jabbing left from Owraa on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A solid body kick from Grigorian.
Grigorian throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Grigorian is breathing heavily.
Owraa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grigorian moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Owraa listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Grigorian is rocked!

Owraa moves into the clinch successfully.
Oh Grigorian is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Owraa fails to pull guard.
Owraa tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Grigorian just stands there and leans against the cage.
Owraa fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Adam Grigorian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uruk Owraa.
Owraa tries to pull guard but Grigorian forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Owraa tries to pull guard but Grigorian holds him up against the cage and eventually Owraa drops back down to his feet.

Grigorian escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Owraa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Owraa circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Grigorian to the canvas! Grigorian doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Owraa keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
