Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Claude (ranked 8418 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffery Kenderson (ranked 6345 p4p, 0 weight class). Claude has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claude looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kenderson is fending him off so far but Claude persists. Nope, Kenderson circles away and we're back to standing.
Claude looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Claude is breathing heavily.
A combination from Claude does no damage.
Kenderson misses with a shot to the body
and Claude counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Claude avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Claude drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kenderson sprawls and moves away.

Kenderson tries to clinch there but Claude circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kenderson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Claude paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kenderson swats away the attempt to clinch by Claude.

Kenderson tries to work over Claude's front leg with a kick but Claude checks it.
Kenderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kenderson has hold of Claude's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Claude tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kenderson cranks the arm and Claude screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Claude, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
