Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sven Ludwig (ranked 2748 p4p, 340 weight class) and Test Two (ranked 2543 p4p, 317 weight class). Test Two has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Two tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ludwig counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Two closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ludwig counters with a body kick that stops Two in his tracks momentarily.
Two fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ludwig keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ludwig thuds his shin into the meat of Two's side.
Ludwig smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Two gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Ludwig counter with a right hand.
Two shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ludwig but Ludwig pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Two escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ludwig gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Two is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Two wants to sweep but Ludwig has passed to side control!

That's time! Ludwig's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Two has managed to clinch.
Ludwig connects with a knee to the head.

Two is trying to pull guard but Ludwig has him pressed against the cage.

Two stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ludwig.
Test Two is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Two tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ludwig manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

It looks like Test Two has been cut.

Ludwig thuds a left hand into Two's body.
Two is breathing heavily.
Ludwig buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Two walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Two tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ludwig paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Two closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Two tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Two has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Two swings around for an armbar but Ludwig sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Two's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ludwig has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Two on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

It looks like Ludwig has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Two has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ludwig finds it's way round the side to connect with Two's head.
Ludwig thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Two if he has to take too many more of those.
Two takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Two takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Two changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ludwig tries to avoid it but Two manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ludwig to the ground. Ludwig escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It appears Ludwig was looking to counter with a kick there.

Two's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Two shoots for a takedown but Ludwig saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ludwig jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ludwig lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Ludwig cracks Two with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Test Two has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ludwig fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sven Ludwig showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Ludwig has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
