Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevenson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lose Yourself kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joe Stevenson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies tries to clinch up but Stevenson circles away and keeps his distance.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Davies is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stevenson manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Stevenson looks for a takedown but Davies sprawls well.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Davies drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stevenson pulls his leg out and moves away.

Davies working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stevenson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stevenson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
