Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tony Yak Yak (ranked 6401 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffery Kenderson (ranked 6487 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenderson shoots in but Yak Yak avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kenderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yak Yak moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kenderson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
It appears Yak Yak was looking to counter with a kick there.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Kenderson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yak Yak tries to keep at a distance but Kenderson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kenderson is trying to trip Yak Yak. He has hold of a leg but Yak Yak is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kenderson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Kenderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yak Yak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kenderson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
