Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Masato Saeba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Stajin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saeba comes into the arena with Easy Action blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masato Saeba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Stajin!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saeba throws the kick towards the body but Stajin avoids it.
Stajin shoots in looking for a takedown. Saeba tries to sprawl out of it but Stajin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saeba manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stajin throws a wild body kick that Saeba sees coming a mile off.
Stajin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Saeba misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Saeba scores with a head kick.
Stajin checks a leg kick nicely.
Stajin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Saeba swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Saeba throws a jab but it's blocked by Stajin.
Stajin walks into a stiff left hand from Saeba.
Stajin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stajin throwing strikes here but Saeba is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Saeba is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Saeba has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Stajin's lack of action.
Stajin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Saeba slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Saeba is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Stajin stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Saeba has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Stajin manages to get his head free but now Saeba has transitioned to an armbar! Stajin grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Saeba! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Masato Saeba!
