The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bowman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bowman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Moore has hold of Bowman's hands but Bowman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Moore manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Bowman keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Bowman's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bowman wants to get back to striking at distance but Moore won't allow it.
Bowman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Moore has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moore's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Moore lands with a nice combination. Bowman backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Gary Bowman has been cut.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Moore enables Bowman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Moore manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Moore is looking for a sweep. Bowman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bowman is nestled in close to Moore, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Moore has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bowman is working away from the top position though.
Moore might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bowman haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Bowman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bowman is trying to push Moore away but Moore has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

and Moore takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bowman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moore sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bowman somewhat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bowman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bowman is sitting in close to Moore's body. Moore has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bowman is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bowman is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Moore.
