PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Junior Borg (ranked 3316 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Graves (ranked 4994 p4p, 0 weight class). Borg comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Borg Out. Graves is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by London Calling. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves shoots and misses
and Borg counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Borg throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Alex Graves has been cut.
Borg pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Borg ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Borg stuffs the takedown.
Graves looks winded!
Borg tries a head kick but it misses.
Borg throws a head kick but Graves moves out of range.
Borg tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Graves tries for a takedown but Borg circles away easily
and Borg counters with a left and a right that stings Graves.
Junior Borg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Graves.

Borg moves into the clinch.

Borg pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Borg throws a series of punches but Graves avoids them all with ease.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Borg! Graves is out on his feet! Borg rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Graves is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Graves is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Junior Borg!
A very excited looking Junior Borg made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Alex Graves stepped up to the mic, saying 'This isn't over. That was luck and we will be back to breaking arms and spirits very soon!'.
