Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aoki Sudo (ranked 4678 p4p, 419 weight class) and Nicky Ryan (ranked 9097 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Sudo both land. Nice combination.
Ryan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sudo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters circling - Sudo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ryan with the counter takedown but Sudo avoids it easily.

Ryan tries to pull guard but Sudo forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Aoki Sudo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicky Ryan.
Ryan jumps guard but Sudo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Ryan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sudo walks away with a smile on his face. Ryan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Aoki Sudo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ryan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sudo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ryan somewhat.
Sudo closes the distance and clinches.
Ryan tries to pull guard but Sudo won't allow it.

Ryan looks up at the clock. Bad move! Sudo lands a right hand from hell, dropping Ryan. Sudo pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
