PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Korean Kimchi (ranked 6651 p4p, 292 weight class) and Alex Wren (ranked 8676 p4p, 328 weight class). Kimchi's entrance music is BigBang & 2NE1 - Lollipop. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Wren!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimchi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kimchi. Wren does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wren changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kimchi tries to avoid it but Wren manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kimchi to the ground. Kimchi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wren takes one to the side of the head.
Wren will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wren walks into a jab.

Wren is rocked!
Kimchi cracks Wren with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
