Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rampage Johnson (ranked 2767 p4p, 377 weight class) and George Baker (ranked 1993 p4p, 280 weight class). Johnson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Guns N' Roses - November Rain. George Baker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker's jab looks to have found its range, popping Johnson under the eye.
Baker connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Johnson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Baker is keeping the position for now.
Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Baker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baker manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Baker's guard.
Johnson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Baker's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Baker is just riding it out for now. Johnson eventually gives up the hold.
Johnson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Baker tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Johnson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Baker is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Baker and Johnson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Johnson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Baker can do anything to dispel that myth.

Johnson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Baker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Johnson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Johnson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Baker!
Johnson wants to finish this one by submission but Baker is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Johnson.
Johnson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Baker to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Baker shrugs it off.

Baker is sitting in close to Johnson's body. Johnson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Baker is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Baker is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Johnson.
